About the Study
The Early Life Exposures in Agriculture (ELEA) Study is a research study directed by the National Cancer Institute, the University of Iowa, and Westat. We are inviting people who spent time on a farm as a child in Iowa or North Carolina to participate in this study, in particular those whose parents are members of the Agricultural Health Study. The purpose of the ELEA study is to evaluate how early life experiences, including how growing up or working on a farm, may influence health.
Important: If you received a letter from the University of Iowa, you must first visit their site to consent to be a part of the study.
